Cards Challenge

Winter wishes and Hot Cocoa

November 27, 2016

Happy Sunday everyone,

Today, I am sharing my entry into this week’s Paper Players sketch challenge using MFT’s Hug in a Mug stamp set and Hot cocoa cups dies.

This project is A2 size on a Neenah Solar White #110 card base.  The designer papers are from DCWV Cranberry Christmas paper pad. The red cardstockis SU Cherry Cobbler, the gray is Bazzill’s Gummy Worm, the whipped cream was a piece of scrap Bristol smooth distressed with Hickory Smoke, and the coffee is a piece of SU Early Espresso.

WPlus9’s Cranberry Crush was used for tone on tone stamping to add a little interest to the coffee mugs and the sentiment was heat embossed using Judikins White embossing powder.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have an awesome week.

I love the graphic paper behind your pair of festive mugs Crystal – it sets them off to perfection! I can almost smell the gingerbread latte, they look yummy. Thanks for joining us over at The Paper Players this week!

Crystal, this is so fun! I love the DSP that you used. Such a rich color for winter! Nothing better than a nice warm drink with lots of whipped cream! So happy you joined us at The Paper Players this week! XX
