Good Morning,

Just have a quick card to share that I am submitting in this weeks challenge over at the Paper Players Blog using Dove Art Studios Himalayan Poppies.

The card is standard A2 size with the base made from Neenah Solar White #110.  The Designer Paper is from Fancy Pants Etcetera paper pack and I took some Picket Fence Distress Stain across the top to mute it down and dried it with a heat gun.  After drying, it was adhered to a piece of MFT’s Primitive Cream after both were die cut using By Diezynes Big Stitched/Pierced Rectangles.

The focal panel was created by taking the center piece left after cutting a some Hammermill #100 cardstock with MFT’s Single Stitch Line Rectangle Frame.  The image is stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with the Copic markers listed below the image.  To add a little more sparkle I used a Perfect Medium pen and brushed a little True Blue and Bright Yellow Pearl Ex Powder.

After adding the focal panel to a piece of MFT’s Jellybean Green it was popped up on a piece of craft foam.  A couple of Doodlebug gems were added after they got a little Copic ink added to them.

That’s all for me today.  I’m off to get my submission in before today’s deadline for consideration.

Have a great Friday.
