Love is in the air as we are getting closer to Valentine’s Day and Joy Clair’s Song of Solomon set is perfect for this loving holiday. This set falls under their bible journaling line, but can be used just as well in other paper projects.
For my card I die cut a piece of Gina K Cherry Red cardstock using Lawn Fawns Stitched Journaling die and then did some tone on tone stamping using Gina K’s Cherry Red ink and the string of hearts from the stamp set. The hearts were cut using the digital cut file, the red one being the true size and the silver being an offset. The sentiment was also digitally cut prior to being stamped. An additional piece of silver was cut out and the edges rounded using a corner chomper with all elements being placed on Neenah Solar white card base with a final size of 3 3/4” by 5 1/8”
In the picture above I am sharing how I used the same stamp set in my journaling Bible. I use pigment inks at the time because I really like how crisp the stamping looks. As I add more color I may change because if nothing else art is not only an expression of yourself but also a progression.
Thanks for stopping by today and hope you have a great one.
