Another week is down in the history books. Hope it was a great one for you. Have you joined in 30-day Coloring Challenge yet? Well, as promised I am showing what I created this past week. I will admit I am missing a few days; but I was creating.
WPlus9 Flower Doodles are the star of this show. Stamping with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on some Hammermill cardstock is how this project got underway. They are colored with Copic markers. Now, I am the first to admit I tried somethings that were a little different for me and I can’t say I am totally in love with them. The flower centers are covered with flocking powder and then I put enamel dot on top of that (will not do that again). I sprinkled the focal panel with some red and yellow fluid acrylic ink, mounted on some Stampin Up Wild Wasabi and Basic black, tied some American Crafts ribbon at the bottom and placed on an A2 size card base of Neenah Solar White cardstock.
I am just tickled pink with how this one came out. Using Some OddGirl’s Clever Kitty stamp set I took the fish included and made a small underwater scene on some Hammermill cardstock and colored with Copic Markers. The deck is a shelf from Simon Says Stamp set Thine own shelf stamped in WPlus9’s coconut Husk ink. Using a black mulitliner pen I drew in the fishing pole and die cut with one of MFT’s Blueprint #29 die. On a piece of Gina K’s Ocean Mist cardstock, I stamped MFT’s Simply Circles in some Ocean Mist ink and then mounted the focal panel using some craft foam.
Talkabout Impressions stamps is the focal here. Stamped on some Hammermill #100 and colored with Copic Markers. After getting colored he was fussy cut, placed on a panel cut using Blueprint #25 and covered with Wilted Violet and Dusty Concord distress inks. The designer paper is some scraps in my stash and is placed on a piece of Stampin’ Up Wild Wasabi cardbase. The sentiment is from MFT’s Cool Cup and is stamped using Ranger Archival Black ink. The extra cookies were cut using a circle punch and then colored with Copic Markers
This day I got adventurous and decided to create a scene using Lawn Fawn’s Critter in the Jungle and on the Savannah sets. As always, the panel is Hammermill #100, stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colored with Copic markers. The grass sprigs are stamped using WPlus9’s Appletini ink. The panel was cut using MFT’s Blueprint #31 and then matted on some Stampin Up Basic Black and mounted on an Old Olive cardbase.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day,
