Cards Challenge

A Serene Die cut scene and another Color Throwdown #432

March 4, 2017

Good Morning,

How was your week?  Mine was productive with a little side of creative.  Before I share today’s card, I wanted to ask how many of you are doing the 30-day Coloring Challenge?  If you have never heard of it, you can find the post here.  Myself I will give it a shot and hope I don’t do like everything else by starting out strong and by week 2, I move on to something else.

Today, I am sharing a card made for this week’s Color Throwdown challenge completed using nothing but die cuts.  I used My Favorite Things Radiant Sun, Tree-mendous, and Trees in the forest for my main focal elements and the hillsides were created using Mama Elephants Landscape trio and Simon Says Stamp A2 card Curve Edge.  The back panel was die cut using My Favorite Things Blueprint #27.  My cardstocks are Gina K’s Ocean Mist, Cherry Red Dark Chocolate and Grassy Green and distressed with Candied Apple, Lucky Clover, Twisted Citron and Broken China.  The sentiment is from Paper Smooches I blank you set stamped in WPlus9’s Coconut Husk ink.

I’ll show you at the end of the month how far I made it with the 30-day challenge.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend.
