Happy Thursday. Are you ready for the weekend?
Today, I am sharing a card that I created for this week’s Freshly Made Sketch for this week.
Hammermill #100 creates the base of my card and as I am typing this I realize that this was not the correct cardstock for the base. Oh well it still works.
The image is from Art Impressions and stamped on Hammermill #100 using Memento Tuxedo Black using a MISTI. I wasn’t for sure if the image would stamp clearly the first time, so it was better to be safe than sorry. With the image stamped I colored it with Copic markers using colors listed below the image. A black glaze pen creates the glossy look on the bird’s eyes and a white gel pen provides the highlights in the scarecrows eyes.
Using a Spellbinder’s Circle die I cut a circle from a piece of cardstock from Lawn Fawn’s Perfectly Plaid Paperpack to create a window with a piece of Duralar Acetate adhered to the circle. To create a small border around my focal piece I cut a piece of Bazzill’s GummyWorm cardstock slightly smaller than the cardbase and put my pieces together.
Using My Favorite Things Label Maker and Label Maker Love with the matching dies I stamped the words I wanted using Wplus9’s Bo Peep ink with my MISTI again, popped them up on some craft foam and placed them using some Scor-tape and that completes my card.
Thanks for stopping by and see around the crafting hood
