Good Morning. How many of you are bakers and who has baked a gingerbread house? I will have to admit I do not think that I have ever eaten gingerbread and I know I certainly have not done a house, but I did color up these little gingerbread gems from Creative Vision Stamps.
I stamped the gingerbreads using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Hammermill cardstock and colored up using copic markers. Once colored up it was all about the details, such as their eyes. Darkened them up using the back glaze pen and once it dried added a little white highlight to them. The piping on them I left white and just covered with some glossy accents. Colored the little peppermints held and then added some stickles to the red stripes only, put some rouge liquid pearls on their cheeks and then just grabbed some pens for their noses and buttons at the top. Added some twine to the bottom and matted on some brown cardstock on top of a piece of craft foam for dimension. The designer paper was die cut with Diezyne Stitched Rectangles, matted and laid flat on to the card base.
